Thinking back at it now it may not seem like a huge deal but being a certified nutrition coach who loves helping people achieve incredible fitness and fat loss results, live a healthier life, and optimizing their nutrition, this made me super angry.
I don’t know why it caught my attention so much but I thought what the f@%k. I think I am still a little jacked up about it.
I mean first of all it is 7am. Second, nobody should eat that shit anyways. Seriously those things are as bad as it gets. And third, why does it have to be a bag that you could use a parachute.
Just out of curiosity I went online and looked at the nutrition profile of Cheetos. Check this out…
Now look at the nutrition profile. 10 grams of fat, 13 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of protein. But that is only for 13 puffs or whatever the hell you call these things. I can guarantee you this dude was eating more than 13.
Anyways the point I am trying to make is that this stuff is really unhealthy. I mean REALLY unhealthy. The same can be said for virtually all chips, processed foods, candy, chocolate bars, etc.
Avoid this stuff at all costs.
And I get it. Once it a while you need a treat. Maybe a dessert at a restaurant or a piece of birthday cake.
I LOVE ice cream. But I only have it 2-3 times per month and when I do I buy high quality stuff. Or better yet I will eat coconut milk ice cream. We are pretty fortunate to have Screamin’ Brothers right in our back yard ;)
So here are a few tips…
- Eat a healthy clean diet at least 80% of the time.
- It is ok to have a cheat meal but try to keep it high quality. Don’t fall for crap like Cheetos.
- When you do have a treat enjoy it. If you stress that you ate something bad and beat yourself up it would be better off to not eat it in the first place.
- After your treat jump right back onto your healthy eating.
