Most people get caught up in the rat race and lose focus of what is important in life...love and excitement. As the title of this blog says "Life is for Living". Your life shouldn't be designed around how much money you make or trying to please people. It should be about experiences, living in the moment, sharing love and making memories with those you are closest with. Enjoying the simple things in life like the smell of the early morning mountain air, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or having dinner with your family and friends.
If you can learn to focus on what is important right now at this moment (something I personally have been trying to improve at lately), you will find that all those things you usually take for granted all of a sudden become amazingly exciting, enjoyable, and fulfilling.
"Life is for Living" is the reason that we focus on our health so much. Not to look good on the beach (although it is an added bonus!) but it is so we can enjoy these types of experiences as long as we can. When adventures come our way we can take them on with full force! And helping others do the same is genuinely one of my greatest joys.
This weekend was somewhat of a weekend of firsts for Kristen and I in Waterton. We have both spent countless hours there and even got married in the park, but these last few days we got to experience a few different firsts.
I went canoeing with my brother and his girlfriend and we went cliff jumping off a 60 footer!
Kristen and spent Sunday afternoon canoeing over to a waterfall that we have never explored before. An incredible spot!
Remember, enjoy all the little things in your life. Don't take things for granted and quit stressing over all the littles things that DON'T matter. If you focus on making little improvements in your life in will soon change your entire outlook.
