Fall foods like pumpkin, yams, potatoes, corn, squash, etc. are generally hearty, delicious items that pack a few extra calories then that of their summer counterparts. This is actually a seasonal "evolutionary" trait for these foods to have more calories so that our ancestors could carry more fat into the winter...but I digress.
